Vikings survival ...

... and now I can finally finish the story! The Vikings achieved the maintenance in the first division of the 11-a-side (ok ok, it was in the last round, extremely hot day and the other team had only 1 sub against 7, details) and we got promoted to the first division in the 5-a-side.

Vikings 2007/2008 - Top: Peter V, Johannes, Yi Fan, Hugo, Aaron, Stian, Pete the Swede, Mads, Andreas, Sebastian, Liu Jiabao, Mikael. Down: Ole, Kim, Kasper, HC, Eddie, Velux, Natan, Teemu and Eskil.

I've made a lot of new Scandinavian friends that I will miss. I would like to thank you all guys for the team spirit and the way you received me.

Now, as a reward for the good performance, I have the two promised nordic girls to take with me to Portugal. Anybody interested? No one? Have to throw them away?! :)

I 've learned that:
- The Vikings spirit still exists;
- If you are 30, from denmark, and you are not married in your birthday, u'll get pepper in the eyes;
- There are diferences between danes, finish, swedish and norwegian;
- You always need to look up;
- Not all of them have blue eyes and blonde hair;
- There are people still trying to find out if they are norwegian or swedish;
- The most important danish word is: "Skål" (cheers);

Nuvem e Hamburguer de ... patanisca!

Imaginem que vão ao Mc Donalds e querem pedir um simples hamburguer ... uma tarefa que aparentemente pode ser simples torna-se num autêntico pesadelo.

Primeiro, porque as ementas estão todas em chinês ... e a única coisa mais ou menos familiar é o mítico Big Mac.

Segundo, porque os empregados não falam bolha de inglês. Mal te aproximas do balcão a empregada estica-te imediatamente o braço empunhando um papel com todas as opções e só tens de apontar o que queres ... para escolher depois as opções é que é um filme.

Terceiro, porque os gostos dos chineses são tão esquisitos que, até hamburgueres de bacalhau há ... leram bem ... BACALHAU.

E já que estamos a falar de comida, aproveitar para dizer que finalmente tirei a barriga de misérias :) A inauguração do primeiro restaurante português em Pequim foi um sucesso. Parabéns ao cozinheiro (Ricardo) e à malta que soube disfrutar de tão fabuloso banquete com um brilho nos olhos.

O restaurante chama-se Nuvem e fica nos lagos de Hou Hai.
